Okay heres a very annoying one, when I go to log into certain websites the
sign-in page pops up but then goes away before I have the chance to log in
and I am back at the websites home page, this happens in spite of the fact
that I have pop-up blocker turned off. It also happens when pop-up blocker is
on and I have the web address in the "pop ups allowed" list. Has anyone else
run into this problem? Any suggestions?

Make sure you do not have some other popup blocker installed, something like Yahoo toolbar for one example. Seems like there are just too many "helpful" add-ons for this.

Does this behavior persist if you start IE7 in No Add-ons mode?

To start IE7 in No Add-ons mode:

1. Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without Add-ons;

2. Start > (All) Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer
(No add-ons).

I have every pop-up blocker turned off and it still does the same thing, I
have however found a way around the problem. If I open the website using the
Firefox Mozilla browser and use the IE tab option in the tools menu of
Mozilla everything works fine. without the IE tab Mozilla will not work
properly on some websites. Thanks for your help
